My family lives in Louisiana, and this recipe (something different) was handed down from my Mom years ago.Ingredients | Asparagus Baked Salmon In Foil2 pounds fresh asparagus, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces10 hard-cooked eggs, peeled and sliced in half lengthwise1 (4.5 ounce) can deviled ham spread1 tablespoon heavy cream1 teaspoon grated onion¾ teaspoon dry mustard powder½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce½ teaspoon salt6 tablespoons butter6 tablespoons all-purpose flour3 cups milk2 cups shredded mild Cheddar cheese¼ teaspoon dry mustard powdersalt to taste⅛ teaspoon ground black pepper1 cup crushed corn flake cereal2 tablespoons butter, meltedDirectionsPreheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).Cook asparagus in a large pot of lightly salted boiling water until tender, 5 to 8 minutes.
